Come build with us! Role and Responsibilities Specific Job Duties: Lead and drive the modeling and analysis of new SoC architectures and features for next generation mobile products. Build models of SoC architectures to evaluate new feature and use cases. Perform high-level performance modeling and analysis of hardware features, applications, benchmarks, and complex uses cases. Leverage a data driven approach to drive consensus around complex architectural proposals and identify, analyze and optimize critical complex use cases including gaming and camera applications. Communicate and articulate the performance benefits of architecture proposals clearly and effectively across audiences, ranging from hardware & software engineers to architecture peers and technology and business leadership. Grow and develop the SoC performance modeling team to successfully deliver business objectives. Skills and Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 48 months of experience in the Job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 48 months of experience involving the following: 1. IP/Component performance modeling [C/C programming] and analysis; 2. Evaluating architectural trade-offs of performance, power, and area; 3. Debugging and resolving complex cross-IP performance issues; 4. Silicon performance characterization, tuning and debug; 5. Cache subsystem performance, Cache Coherence and Memory Consistency; 6. RTL simulation environments and debug tools; 7. CPU architecture and microarchitecture; 8. SoC performance modeling, performance characterization, tuning and projection; 9. On-die interconnect protocols, microarchitecture and tradeoff evaluation; and 10. Memory system architecture, design and performance Total Rewards At Samsung - SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $247,417 and $267,417. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
